Nakhiloo Island: A heaven for birds

Nakhiloo Island in Iran's Boushehr Province is one of the rarest and most unique islands in the world and the Middle East, which is a host to marine migratory birds.

Due to suitable vegetation, shell sand bed, being uninhabited, the island is an ideal place for migratory birds to lay their eggs.

The island is barely more than 3 meters above the sea level and it covers an area of ​​32 hectares.
